Senior Support Workers – Day Program (Wenty Social Hub)
Beyond Care is seeking Senior Support Worker for Day Program (Wenty Social Hub, Wentworthville) to assist Service Coordinator in day-to-day operations and on-call of Day program.
Description of the role
The position of a Senior Support Worker is to provide the Service Coordinator assistance in delivering services in a manner to Beyond Care Participants that ensures quality service delivery that meets the participant’s needs and at the same time working towards the participant’s objectives in a person-centred manner. This position will be a combination of admin and floor shifts

Essentials
- Demonstrate understanding of the needs of people with disabilities, their carers and families.
- Tertiary qualifications in disabilities and preference of a minimum 1-year experience as a support worker.
- Sound knowledge and understanding of the complex needs of people with disabilities
- Understanding relevant Services Act and Standards.
- Understanding of WH&S Legislation.
- First Aid Certificate.
- Current Valid Driver’s Licence.
- Comprehensively Insured Vehicle.
- Ability to work independently and as a team member.
- Good Written and Verbal Communication.
- High level of computer literacy with competency in use of cloud-based CRM, rostering systems and Microsoft Office programs including Word, Excel, Publisher, Outlook
- Assisting Service Coordinators in preparation of support workers rosters in accordance to the SCHADS Award and client needs.
- Daily running of Day Program
- Must be willing to participate in on call roster within Service Coordinators team after hours and over the weekends/public Holidays.
