Beyond Care is looking for dedicated Support Workers to join our Supported Independent Living (SIL) and Short-Term Accommodation (STA) programs across Sydney and NSW. About the Role

We support participants with daily living needs, providing both short and long shifts, including sleepovers and active night shifts, allowing for a great work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Working flexible shifts, including mornings, afternoons, sleepovers, and weekends.

• Assisting participants in maintaining their independence.

• Facilitating outings such as walks, dining out, shopping, and attending movies.

• Providing personal care and supporting household tasks, including menu planning, cooking, and cleaning.

What We’re Looking For

To be successful in this role, you will need:

Essential Criteria:

• Certificate III in Community Services, Aged Care, Disability, or equivalent.

• Experience as a Support Worker.

• Availability for at least 3-4 days per week.

• A reliable vehicle, Australian Driver’s Licence, and third-party insurance.

• A valid First Aid Certificate (or willingness to obtain one).

• A current Working with Children Check and NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain).

• Full working rights in Australia.

• A strong commitment to delivering high-quality care and improving clients’ lives.

• Reliability and dedication to maintaining regular work hours.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Access to a smartphone.

• Ability to adopt a person-centred approach that supports client independence and choice.

• Flexibility to work varying shift lengths, including mornings, evenings, nights, sleepovers, active nights, weekends, and public holidays.

• Knowledge of an additional language is an advantage but not essential.
