Beyond Care currently has Disability Day Program Jobs for our newly opening Day Program/ Social Hub in the heart of Wentworthville. We have multiple positions available to join the newly opened social hub where we are aiming to bring difference in the lives of people with disability 

This program is to assist participants to empower the independence and choice and working on building and enhancing new skills to achieve their goals.  

BRAND NEW Social hub will be bringing exciting new programs for age group individuals with an ambition to expand and grow, so now is the time to join.

Responsibilities include:

  • Assisting participants to live an active lifestyle by delivering range of centre based and community based programs
  • Running creative and interactive daily programs.
  • Creating a welcoming and fun loving environment.

Essential requirements:

  • Motivation and ability to engage with all age group individuals in running successful programs
  • Able to work minimum 4 days between Monday-Friday 8.45am-3.15pm
  • Available to work some weekends will be preferred.
  • Previous experience in running group activities or special programs will be beneficial but not essential
  • Australian Driver's License
  • Current First Aid Certificate or willingness to obtain one.
  • Current Working with Children's Check and NDIS worker screening check or willingness to obtain one.
  • Rights to work in Australia
  • A genuine desire to provide quality care and enhance the lives of our clients
  • Reliable, responsible attitude towards work and able to commit to regular hours ongoing.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Access to smart phone.
  • Ability to provide a person-centered approach that empowers the client's independence and choice
  • A second language is desirable but not essential.
