Beyond Care is proud to introduce Swapna Thomas, a Support Coordinator and Psychosocial Recovery Coach based in Dubbo. With extensive experience in social work, mental health, and aged care, Swapna is passionate about helping individuals navigate their NDIS plans and achieve greater independence.
A Strong Educational Background in Social Work
Swapna holds a Master’s Degree in Social Work, along with a Bachelor of Arts and a Master’s in History. Her expertise in mental health and psychosocial recovery allows her to support clients in a holistic and person-centred way.
Her experience includes:
Psychiatric Social Work – Conducting psychosocial assessments, counselling, and behaviour modification.
Mental Health Support – Helping individuals improve communication, stress management, and relationships.
Aged Care Leadership – Previously working as a Team Leader in the aged care sector.
Disability Support – Over seven years of experience in the disability sector, working closely with clients to understand their needs.
